Basic file management

Simply start by making a catalog of your main storage device just drag the drive into an empty catalog and Expression Media will start building a basic catalog of all the files in that location.

The catalog will sort your files by;

• Type
• Folder
• Date
• Creator
• Event
• People

And if you have any metadata in the files Expression Media will build a files from these also. So even with out doing any sorting or adding of data you now have a visual database of all the files in that location. This is a great starting point.
